Meet Tina Souders

Tina has trained thousands of human service professionals nationwide on topics such as ethics, social media, law and supervision. Her style is positive and engaging. Her advice is relevant and practical.

Tina earned her BA in Sociology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and went on to earn a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.  A few years later, Tina earned her Juris Doctorate (JD) from North Carolina Central University, graduating Cum Laude.  Tina is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina.

Currently, Tina is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Social Work and the Director of the Winston-Salem Distance Education MSW Program.  She is also pursuing her Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology at Old Dominion Univeristy.  Valuing service to the community, Tina served as the Treasurer of NASW-NC and was a member of the NASW-National Finance Committee for 3 years.
